In 2021 we partnered community development experts to draft a concept for a nongovernmental organisation, International Women Development Trust (IWDT), to address economic challenges faced by women and the girl child in Zimbabwe and neighbouring countries. The founders of the organisation invited us to take a look at the idea and help develop a concept, start and operationalise the idea.
We have since worked closely with the founders and provided assistance and guidance through a step-by-step process of strategy formulation, building of structures, registration of the organisation, logo construction through to drafting a day-to-day activities list from day one. IWDT came into being and is well and truly operational in the Midlands province of Zimbabwe with its head office in Gweru.
